Fan*Betty – Steve Ward
I posted this last December, but having just seen the infrequently performing Steve Ward last night I decided to bump it up- have a listen!
Steve Ward!

It’s a Java Kind of morning!
I don’t even drink coffee, but this song tends to be in my head on waking on wonderful sunny warm Saturdays like today. Great day to sleep in, be in Phoenixville, dog and husband at home finally, heading to the farmers market, seeing friends, catching up with neighbors, grilling. Life is good.
Rialto Monday Morning 5:19
Glanced up at my CD collection last night while reaching for the plant food and saw Rialto. Classic song!
I Can Go For That, Can Do
Now if only they had the video of Inara and Mike Viola doing their duet from Just Before Dark. My 2 fave tastes that taste great together!
Musical Milestones – The Stray Cats
The first time I saw the Stray Cats was this appearance on the TV show Fridays in 1981. Yeah pretty much a life changing moment! I remember having my first real paying babysitting job must’ve been that summer and being so psyched to go to Strawberries Music and pick out a bunch of records. I know I got a number of them but now I can only remember Squeeze and The Stray Cats.
Stardust- Nat “King” Cole / Hoagy Carmichael
Oh the things you find when you’re looking for something else. Sheer perfection. Both Nat and Hoagy are my faves.
I like! Somafm.com Illinois Street Lounge
Classic bachelor pad, playful exotica and vintage music of tomorrow.
Plenty more music on somafm.com too, check it out
Muse Kiss- Cartoon Christmas Trio
We went to see these guys here in town on Thursday night, a cool tradition for us since we moved here! They are a trio who play the Vince Guaraldi music from the Charlie Brown Christmas special as well as other holiday music played in the same style. Cliff is musician friends with Rob the bass player, and we had about 8 folks join us, next year we’ll commandeer a big table for sure!
I came up with this new logo for them (Christmas Tree-O, get it?), for pins for next year. Click it to check out their site!
